Overview
Magic works with a trusted service provider to ensure SMS login codes are sent securely and reliably to end-users across the globe.
Each time an end-user requests an SMS login code, your app will be billed a surcharge based on the end-user's geographic region and cellular network. These surcharges are set by Magic's service provider and passed on directly to you, with no added fees applied.
Billing model
All new Magic customers receive 100 free text messages per month.
After that, a variable surcharge is applied per text message. This surcharge is applied in addition to Magic’s base cost for monthly active users (MAUs).
Your first 1,000 MAUs are free each month. After that you will be billed at 5¢ per MAU up to 5,000 MAUs, and 10¢ for every MAU over 5,000.
Once you've added a credit card, you will be automatically billed once per month for any applicable SMS surcharges and billable MAUs.
